FAQ - Viewing/Validation

Which browser is the best?

Sirius Black's has been coded to current XHTML and CSS standards. This means that it should display well on all browsers, especially those that parse XHTML and CSS in the way they are meant to. We suggest for an optimum experiance while the site, to use either Firefox or Opera. Both of the mentioned browsers are available via download for FREE.

Which screen resolution is best?

For optimum viewing I would suggest 1024x768. However many people still use 800x600 so our site is still visable in this resolution but may not look as good.

How is your site validated?

Our site has a validation button near the bottom. Clicking this link will take you to an XHTML validator maintained by the world wide web consortium. This verifies that the site has been coded correctly and should reduce any errors to an absolute minimum.
Some of our network sites are HTML valid while others XHTML. The forums are neither.

Dad's reprinting! He can't believe it, he says people seem even more interested in this than the Crumple-Horned Snorkacks!
