Half Blood Prince - Staff Reviews
Sirius's Review
My favourite part of the book also happens to be J.K.Rowling's favourite part to write. Luna's quidditch
commentary. With mutch to live up to after Jordan's excellent job Luna did very well. This for me was
also possibly the funniest part of the book.
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was a good book and great to have after such a long
time of waiting. The book was generally good with the all to familiar amusing parts, sad parts and
other parts which make us show many more emotions. I rate the book a 85/100, small due to a number
of reasons. The first is the size. I personally feel it was about 200 pages short and that those
pages would've helped bulk it out and fill in those weak parts. Plus it means theres more Harry Potter!
Jennifer's Review
The book was a little more confusing then most of the rest but overall it was very good. I love how
J.K. made more romance in the novels instead of most of the books where it is just action, action,
action. I wish that Harry hadn't had to have been so "heroic" because he needs love to but he broke
up with her (don't wanna spoil it). Also when he killed him that was so tragic and sad I wanted to
cry. Which is probably why I loved the book because it brings out so much emotion from yourself.
I wish Malfoy had been quicker and took [his] side which would have saved both of them but that's
the way it was meant to be. I gave the book 1 thumb up and 1 thumb sideways.
